State College’s Taylor Givens earns Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week honor
State College track and field athlete Taylor Givens is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.
Givens qualified for four different events at the PIAA meet and helped the Lady Little Lions clinch their 12th straight District 6 crown on Thursday.
The junior won the long jump, the triple jump, helped the 1,600-meter relay team to a first place finish and was second in the 100-meter dash.
Givens will lead a contigent of Centre County track and field athletes into the PIAA meet in Shippensburg on Friday and Saturday.
