The members of the State College girls’ track and field 3,200-meter relay team are Centre Daily Times Athletes of the Week.

The Lady Little Lions team of Catherine Curtin, Esther Seeland, Sophie Bollinger and Elly Haushalter combined to finish third in the event on Saturday at the PIAA Track and Field Championships with a time of 9:14.06.

Seeland anchored the team and had an impressive leg. She received the baton when State College was in the back. With 300 meters to go, Seeland was running in ninth, and kicked into another level and rallied for the finish.
