Philipsburg-Osceola softball player Kam Harris is the Centre Daily Times Female Athlete of the Spring Sports Season.
Harris was as effective in the circle as she was at the plate for the Lady Mounties, as they reached the PIAA Class 3A semifinals. She didn’t allow a run in four straight games spanning over the District 6 tournament and the PIAA first round. At one point in the postseason, she even retired 32 straight batters.
Harris finished the year with a 16-2 record with a 1.26 ERA, 106 strikeouts and eight walks. At the plate, she had a .342 batting average with six home runs and 25 RBIs.
