Bellefonte’s Cade Fortney earns CDT’s Male Athlete of the Week honor

Bellefonte football player Cade Fortney is the Centre Daily Times male Athlete of the Week.

Fortney was instrumental in helping the Red Raiders pick up a 49-14 rout of Tyrone on Friday night.

The senior wide receiver scored through the air and on the ground in the win. He had the first score of the night for Bellefonte on a 7-yard pass, then later rushed 80 yards for a touchdown.

The Red Raiders are 4-1 and host Clearfield for homecoming on Friday.
