Bellefonte’s Mallorie Smith is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore girls’ soccer player set a school record last week after scoring six goals in her team’s dominant 7-0 win over Bald Eagle Area. She now holds the Lady Red Raiders’ all-time record in goals scored with 57 over her short career.

Smith boasts 29 scores this season and had 28 goals last year. She also has seven career assists.

Smith helped lead her team to a 10-7 record, an improvement over last season’s .500 team.
