BEA’s Lucas Holderman named CDT Male Athlete of the Week
Bald Eagle Area’s Lucas Holderman is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.
The Eagles’ 126-pound wrestler came away with two wins by way of fall this past week, helping lift his team to close victories over both Huntingdon and Central Mountain.
On Tuesday, he helped set the tone in the dual meet’s second match with a pin over Brynen Kisel in 5 minutes, 38 seconds. Three days later, it was more of the same. Against Central Mountain, he opened the match with a pin over Davis Seyler in 1:08. BEA won those meets by five and six points, respectively.
“He’s a hard worker and a team player,” BEA coach Ron Guenot said.
Thanks in part to Holderman’s effort, Bald Eagle Area is 3-0 on the season.
