SJCA’s RJ Marsh named CDT Athlete of the Week

St. Joseph’s guard RJ Marsh is the Centre Daily Times’ Male Athlete of the Week.

The Wolves’ junior basketball player led his team in scoring this past week while helping it amass a 4-0 record against Philipsburg-Osceola, Williamsburg, Harmony and Harrisburg Academy. He averaged 15.5 points per game last week.

On Monday, he scored 11 points against P-O in a 55-53 victory. On Wednesday, he had 12 against Williamsburg in a 75-41 win. On Friday, it was a game-high 25 points against Harmony in an 81-67 victory. And, on Saturday, he finished the week with 14 against Harrisburg Academy in an 85-35 thumping.

He had 62 total points on the week, while scoring at least 10 points in each of his four games.
