BEA’s Seth Koleno named a CDT Athlete of the Week

Bald Eagle Area’s Seth Koleno is the Centre Daily Times’ Male Athlete of the Week.

The Eagles’ 138-pound wrestler once again collected gold at the Class 3A Northwest Regionals — to improve his record this season to 34-0 while boosting his career regional crowns to three total.

Koleno captured the title thanks to a 5-2 decision over McDowell’s Leno Ciotti.

Koleno has been one of the county’s most dominant wrestlers all season. Twenty-three of his 34 bouts have ended in falls, and he has the potential to make waves at the PIAA championships.
