Here’s who you voted Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week for a second time
Bellefonte boys basketball forward Blair Eckley-Jones has been named the Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week for Jan. 31-Feb. 5. It’s his second CDT Athlete of the Week Award, winning in the week of Jan. 10-Jan. 15.
The Red Raiders senior won with 47% of the vote (372 votes). Penns Valley girls basketball’s Kailen Winkelblech finished second with 23% of the vote (179 votes) and State College boys basketball’s Braeden Shrewsberry was third with 18% (144 votes).
Eckley-Jones had 11 points in a 45-35 win over Dubois on Jan. 31 and added a team-high 19 points in the Red Raiders 64-56 defeat of Clearfield to total 30 points in the week.
