Penns Valley’s Curtis Decker is Jan. 25 CDT Athlete of the Week

Penns Valley’s Curtis Decker is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Decker earned his 118th win Thursday night, setting a school record for career victories in wrestling. Decker won by forfeit at 145 pounds in a 50-27 loss to West Branch. He surpassed the mark of 117 wins set by Corey Hazel last year.

Decker also earned a win at 145 on Tuesday, pinning Huntingdon’s Trenton Sheaffer in 1:20.

The Rams fell 40-28 to the Bearcats.
