Bellefonte boys’ basketball player Hunter Knisely is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Knisely helped lead the Red Raiders to a pair of wins this week over Central and Philipsburg-Osceola.

The upperclassman hit two free throws with five seconds remaining in overtime to seal Bellefonte’s 57-56 win against Central on Saturday. He finished with 13 points on the night.

Knisely also tied for a team-high 11 points on Tuesday, pushing the Red Raiders to a 64-45 defeat of the Mounties.

Bellefonte (5-12) travels to Juniata on Tuesday.
