Penns Valley’s Karli Ripka is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week

Penns Valley girls’ basketball player Karli Ripka is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The Lady Rams won three games this week, thanks in large part to Ripka’s play in the backcourt.

The senior point guard tallied a game-high 22 points in Penns Valley’s 59-44 win over Central on Wednesday, hitting 16 of 19 attempts from the free-throw line. Ripka’s ballhandling and passing also guided the Lady Rams to victories over Huntingdon and Cowanesque Valley on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Penns Valley (15-4) hosts Clearfield on Tuesday.
