Bellefonte’s Tara Baney is the CDT’s April 4 Athlete of the Week

Bellefonte softball player Tara Baney is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Baney pitched a no-hitter to lead the Lady Red Raiders to an 11-0 win over Penns Valley on Thursday. Baney recorded 12 strikeouts and hit one batter in the standout performance.

She also finished with three hits — a two-run home run, a triple and a double.
