Philipsburg-Osceola’s Kam Harris is the CDT’s Athlete of the Week

Philipsburg-Osceola softball player Kam Harris is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Harris tossed a gem in Wednesday’s District 6 Class AA championship game, limiting Bald Eagle Area to just two hits in the 4-0 win. Harris struck out six over seven innings of work, and had a perfect game through 4 2/3 innings.

The freshman also contributed at the plate, doubling P-O’s advantage with a two-run double to the center-field warning track in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Harris and the Lady Mounties (20-2) face District 7’s Steel Valley in the first round of the PIAA tournament at 7 p.m. Monday at Beard Field.
