John Schall’s 4 RBIs lead Mounties past Coyotes in County League game
John Schall set the tone Wednesday as he recorded a game-high four RBIs in the Clarence Mounties’ 9-0 win over the Clarence Coyotes in a Centre County Baseball League game.
Schall smacked a two-RBI single in the first inning and then walloped a two-run homer in the seventh. He was one of three Mounties to record multiple hits — Bryce Greene (two singles) and Ryan MacNamara (two singles) were the others.
The Mounties led 3-0 after the first inning and never looked back. The Coyotes managed just two hits, as Brandon Barnyack picked up the pitching win.
The Mounties are next slated to take on Lemont at 6 p.m. Thursday, while the Coyotes will square off against Howard at the same time Thursday.
