Big inning lifts Bellefonte to American Legion baseball win

Behind a six-run fourth inning, the Bellefonte American Legion baseball team pulled away from Philipsburg 10-2 Monday night at Governor’s Park.

Greg Watson powered the Bandits’ offense with three hits while Cayden Lucas, Dylan Dietrich and Tanner Helms collected two each. Ryan McElwee earned the win.

Mike Askey was tagged with the loss for Philipsburg.
