BEA holds off P-O in Little League elimination game

The Bald Eagle Area Little League Baseball team stayed alive in the District 5 tournament with a 13-10 victory over Philipsburg-Osceola on Tuesday night at the Milesburg Little League Field.

Tyler Bumbarger paced BEA with a 3 for 5 day at the plate, connecting for a pair of doubles and a two-run home run. Ryan Kresovich plated four runs with his work at the plate and Ethan Koleno added three RBIs. McGuire Heverly earned the win.

Parker White keyed a massive comeback effort by P-O as the team scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. White was 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs.

BEA will host Curwensville at 6 p.m. Thursday in another round in the elimination bracket. Curwensville beat Moshannon Valley 17-7.
