State College Spikes’ game against Batavia postponed

The State College Spikes will play a doubleheader against the Batavia Muckdogs on Tuesday after Monday night’s game was postponed due to weather.

The teams will play the first game of the doubleheader at 11:05 a.m. at Dwyer Stadium. Both games will be seven innings.

Left-handed pitcher Dewin Perez will start the first game for the Spikes (24-12), and right-hander Jose Diaz will be on the mound for Batavia (7-29). In the second game, State College lefty John Kilichowski and Batavia right-hander Travis Neubeck are set to start.

The Spikes have off Wednesday and face Williamsport on the road Thursday.

State College hosts the Crosscutters on Friday and Saturday before continuing its homestand with a three-game series against West Virginia.
