Philadelphia Flyers Re-Sign Trevor Zegras And Avoid Arbitration

The Philadelphia Flyers re-signed RFA Trevor Zegras to a four-year contract on Wednesday.

The deal is worth $9.125 million annually and keeps Zegras signed through 2029-30.

One week after the Anaheim Ducks matched the Flyers' offer sheet for Zegras' former teammate, center Leo Carlsson, Philadelphia has taken care of one of its current RFAs who was scheduled for arbitration.

Zegras avoided arbitration on July 22, according to PuckPedia.

With Zegras signed, Philadelphia still has about $20.44 million in cap space and three RFAs remaining.

Defenseman Jamie Drysdale, 24, is scheduled for arbitration on Monday, July 20. He had 32 points in 78 games this past season.

Right winger Nikita Grebenkin, 23, had four goals and 14 points in 55 games in 2025-26. He's not eligible for arbitration or an offer sheet.

Defenseman Hunter McDonald, 24, spent most of this past campaign with the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He had six assists in 65 games.
