CDT columnist wins award

Centre Daily Times outdoors columnist Mark Nale was presented an Excellence in Craft Award from the Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association for a photo that appeared in the Dec. 13, 2015, issue of the CDT.

Nale won for Best Published Pennsylvania Fishing or Boating Related Newspaper Photo, Color or Black and White, and also was a runner-up for Best Published Newspaper Photo, Color or Black and White. The image was a photo of a brook trout for the story, “Trout Rules Getting Look.”
