RV fire reported in Potter Township

A recreational vehicle went up in flames at about 6 p.m. Friday in Potter Township, causing heavy traffic delays.

The incident happened at the intersection of U.S. Route 322 and state Route 144. The cause of the fire is unknown, according to Centre Hall Fire Company Asst. Chief Barry Fisher.

Fisher said damage to the vehicle was extensive, but no injuries were reported.

Both lanes of traffic were closed for about two hours, Fisher said. All lanes are now open, but traffic is still moving slowly.
