Herwig's has set a closing date, and it's earlier than expected
If you have a craving for kaslaberl, now's the time to act. Herwig's Austrian Bistro will be closing earlier than expected.
According to a Monday night post on the restaurant's Facebook page, Herwig's will be shutting the doors to its College Avenue location on May 25.
Last month, owner Bernd Brandstatter said that he anticipated closing up shop "as early as June or August," after 16 years of business.
The eatery serves authentic homestyle Austrian cuisine.
