Centre County, what’s your favorite beach or lake in the summer? Tell us in our poll

Summer is finally here, and if you’re anything like us, you’re probably wishing you were lounging on a sunny beach during a much-needed vacation.

Central Pennsylvania is certainly not known for its beaches, though there are a few lakes in the area that make for good options each summer. That said, if you’re a beach-obsessed vacationer, you’re likely traveling far away from Centre County to soak up some sun.

This summer, we want to know which lakes and beaches are Centre County’s favorite. From the Outer Banks and the Jersey Shore to Cape Cod and the Great Lakes, we want to hear which destinations are the most popular for our readers based in central Pennsylvania.

This poll is not scientific, and you can vote as many times as you’d like. Voting will close at noon Wednesday, and the winner will be announced the next day.
