A downtown Bellefonte business closed last year. Here’s what’s coming next
With the waterfront hotel and Gamble Mill projects moving forward, downtown Bellefonte is anticipating another eatery to set up shop in a familiar location overlooking Talleyrand Park.
My Cafe Buzz is moving into the former home of Bella Vino Wine Bar, located at 325 W. High St. The business is expected to open this summer, according to a sign posted on its window.
Prior to Bella Vino, the business housed Cafe on the Park and was owned by Kim and Frank Kowalczyk. In 2016, the cafe was sold to Elwin Stewart and Barb Christ, owners of the Happy Valley Winery, who then turned the space into Wine and Cafe on the Park.
Bella Vino closed last year.
