Firearms, ammo and accessories store to open soon in State College
A firearms, ammo and accessories store is scheduled to open in mid-April in Patton Township.
National Sporting Arms, 355 Colonnade Boulevard, is set to fill the void left by Jezebel’s Boutique, which closed in December. The space is being renovated.
The central Pennsylvania company owns two other locations in Lycoming County, but wanted to expand into the Centre Region because the area is underserved, co-owner Adam Kordes said Friday.
“We’re very excited about the opportunity to move into the State College market, and feel that our brand of customer service, shopping experience and product selection with be a welcome addition to Centre County,” Kordes said.
The store anticipates offering many industry-leading brands and products for a full spectrum of firearms owners, including competition handguns, sporting shotguns and rifles for personal defense.
About three people are expected to be employed at the business, but Kordes anticipates making additional hires as the store grows.
