The results are in: Here’s who has the best pizza in Centre County, according to you
A pizzeria that opened nearly six decades ago in downtown State College was crowned by you all as the best place place to grab a slice in Centre County.
HiWay Pizza Pub defeated Faccia Luna in the championship round of our unscientific poll, which started with 16 pizzerias. HiWay gathered 62% of the votes.
You can take your pick of where to go to try it yourself. HiWay operates at least two pizzerias in Happy Valley: 340 E. College Ave. and 1301 W. College Ave. The original opened in 1963 along Hiester Street.
