He was in critical condition after a crash in Ferguson Township. He now faces DUI charges

A Port Matilda man who was in critical condition after a one-vehicle crash in July was charged Monday with two misdemeanor counts of DUI.

Ashlee Woskob, 37, lost control of a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro at 2556 W. Gatesburg Road and crashed into a tree at a high rate of speed, Ferguson Township police said.

He smelled of alcohol and his eyes were glassy as he was being loaded into an ambulance, an officer wrote in an affidavit of probable cause filed Monday.

Woskob’s two brothers, who were traveling with him on separate motorcycles, told police the three were heading home after leaving Spruce Creek Tavern, police wrote in the affidavit.

Woskob’s blood alcohol content was 0.132%, police wrote. The legal threshold for driving is 0.08%.

A lawyer for Woskob was not listed on a court document. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 12.
