Select Pa. liquor stores, including 2 in Centre County, will reopen Monday for curbside pickup

State-owned liquor stores across Pennsylvania have been closed for weeks to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, but select stores will reopen Monday for curbside pickup.

In Centre County, two stores will open for the service: Fine Wine & Good Spirits at 1682 N. Atherton St. and Fine Wine & Good Spirits at 127 Southridge Plaza, both in State College. One store will open in Clearfield County, the Fine Wine & Good shop at 5720 Shaffer Road in Dubois.

Each store will take a limited number of orders by phone from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the store reaches the maximum number of orders it can fulfill that day. Orders will be taken Monday through Saturday.

Curbside pickup orders will be limited to one order of no more than six bottles. Only one order will be accepted per caller, per store, per day. Callers will be guided by store staff through products available to purchase at each location. Payment by credit card will be required by phone, and all curbside pickup sales are final (no returns).

In an update on its website, Fine Wine & Good Spirits asks customers to be patient when trying to reach stores by phone.

“We’re optimistic our capacity to fulfill orders through our website and curbside pickup will increase in the coming weeks.”

Contact the North Atherton Street shop at 863-6525 and the Southridge Plaza location at 231-1797.
