Lemont Strawberry Festival

When: 3 to 7 p.m. June 7

Where: 133 Mt. Nittany Road in Lemont

What: The 43rd annual Lemont Strawberry Festival will feature all things strawberries in addition to other sweet treats, including Meyer Dairy ice cream, lemonade and cakes made by Lemont residents. Additional activities include live music, art activities and games for children and paid “speeder” rides hosted by the Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society. Event admission costs $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and between $10 and $13 for adults.

Happy Valley Restaurant Week

Juneteenth Celebration Weekend

Outdoor Adventure on Tap

When: 2 to 8 p.m. June 15

Where: Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte

What: At this free-admission event, guests can learn more about Bellefonte’s outdoor adventure scene while sampling craft beverages and food from nearby restaurants and breweries. Expert-led workshops are available for those interested in kayaking, fly-fishing, backpacking, beekeeping and more. Guests can sample beer, wine and other craft beverages from local breweries — including Axemann Brewing Co., Elk Creek Cafe and Aleworks and Seven Mountains Wine Cellar — before chowing down on food from BBQ by Clem, Pappy’s Popcorn, Rosie’s Pierogies and other vendors.
