Still need tickets or a hotel room for Penn State’s White Out? They won’t come cheap
Penn State football is off to a roaring start after starting the 2024 season with six straight wins and becoming the No. 3-ranked team in the country for the first time since 2017.
The Nittany Lions’ most anticipated matchups of the season are still on tap. Penn State will host No. 4-ranked Ohio State University Saturday, Nov. 2 before welcoming the University of Washington to Beaver Stadium for the program’s annual White Out game Saturday, Nov. 9.
The beloved tradition transforms Penn State’s stadium into a sea of fans wearing white from head to toe, but it also brings about the busiest home game on the Nittany Lions’ 2024 regular-season slate. Although some lodges are already booked solid, a few hotel options and tickets on the secondary market are still available for fans willing to cough up a pretty penny.

Penn State’s face-off against Washington pits the two teams against each other for the first time since the 2017 Fiesta Bowl, which the Nittany Lions won 35-28 following a 10-2 regular season. Penn State leads the all-time series against Washington 3-0 with wins over the Huskies in 1983 and 1921. The two teams should match up more often after Washington, the University of Oregon, the University of Southern California and the University of California Los Angeles joined the Big Ten conference this season.
