Here are the criminal cases filed Jan. 6-12 in Centre County

Below is a list of criminal cases filed between Jan. 6 and Sunday in Centre County. The information was gathered from the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System.

Bellefonte:

  • A 39-year-old Bellefonte man was charged Jan. 6 by Bellefonte police with with one felony count of possession with intent to deliver, and one misdemeanor count each of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and illegal possession.
  • A 59-year-old Bellefonte man was charged Jan. 6 by Bellefonte police with one misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended license and one summary traffic citation.
  • A 41-year-old Bellefonte woman was charged Tuesday by state police at Rockview with three misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one misdemeanor count each of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana.
  • A 40-year-old Bellefonte man was charged Thursday by State College police with two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver, one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility and one misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
  • A 37-year-old Snow Shoe man was charged Friday by Bellefonte police with two misdemeanor counts of theft by deception, one misdemeanor count of theft by unlawful taking and one summary count of bad checks.

Benner Township:

  • A Lackawanna County woman was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Rockview with one misdemeanor count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • A 24-year-old Philadelphia woman was charged Wednesday by state police at Hollidaysburg with one felony count each of possession with intent to deliver and contraband.

Boggs Township:

  • A 54-year-old Julian man was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Rockview with one misdemeanor count each of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and defiant trespassing.
  • A 27-year-old Howard woman was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Rockview with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A 35-year-old Bellefonte woman was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Rockview with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and two summary traffic citations.
  • A 29-year-old Port Matilda man was charged Sunday by state police at Rockview with one felony count of attempted criminal trespassing and two summary traffic citations.

College Township:

  • A 19-year-old Delaware County man was charged Jan. 6 by Penn State police with one misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana.
  • An 18-year-old University Park woman was charged Jan. 6 by Penn State police with one misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana.
  • A 52-year-old State College man was charged Jan. 6 by State College police with one misdemeanor count of simple assault and one summary count of harassment.

Ferguson Township:

  • A 34-year-old Port Matilda woman was charged Tuesday by Ferguson Township police with two misdemeanor counts of DUI.
  • A 40-year-old Bellefonte man was charged Thursday by Ferguson Township police with four misdemeanor counts of DUI and one summary traffic citation.

Harris Township:

  • A 33-year-old Clinton County man was charged Friday by State College police with one misdemeanor count of harassment.

Milesburg:

  • A 35-year-old Bellefonte man was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Hollidaysburg with one felony count of forgery and one misdemeanor count of theft by deception.
  • A 22-year-old Milesburg man was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Rockview with one felony count of possession with intent to deliver and one misdemeanor count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Patton Township:

  • A 23-year-old State College woman was charged Tuesday by Patton Township police with two misdemeanor counts of DUI.
  • A 33-year-old State College woman was charged Thursday by Patton Township police with one misdemeanor count each of retail theft and receiving stolen property, and one summary traffic citation.

Snow Shoe:

  • A 53-year-old Snow Shoe man was charged Jan. 6 by state police at Rockview with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and two summary traffic citations.

Spring Township:

  • A 40-year-old Mifflin County woman was charged Jan. 6 by Spring Township police with one misdemeanor count of bad checks.
  • A 36-year-old Snow Shoe man was charged Wednesday by Spring Township police with one misdemeanor count each of theft of property and receiving stolen property.

State College:

  • A 21-year-old State College man was charged Jan. 6 by State College police with one ungraded count of DUI.
  • A 22-year-old Blair County man was charged Jan. 6 by State College police with one ungraded count each of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
  • Austin Melville, 23, of Bellefonte, was charged Wednesday by State College police with one felony count each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
  • An 18-year-old State College man was charged Wednesday by Penn State police with one misdemeanor count each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
  • A 20-year-old State College man was charged Thursday by State College police with one ungraded count of DUI and one summary traffic citation.
  • A 39-year-old Pittsburgh man was charged Friday by State College police with two misdemeanor counts of DUI and one summary traffic citation.
  • A 21-year-old Lycoming County man was charged Friday by State College police with one felony count of possession of a firearm by a minor and one misdemeanor count of corruption of minors.
  • A 27-year-old Mifflin County man was charged Sunday by State College police with one misdemeanor count each of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and one summary count of public drunkenness.
  • A 20-year-old Spring Mills man was charged Friday by Penn State police with three misdemeanor counts of DUI, one misdemeanor count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and one summary traffic citation.

Why are names not listed in the criminal cases report?

Names are not included because we intend to follow every case to its conclusion, which is not possible in every situation. However, we feel it is important for the public to know when and where crimes are occurring within Centre County, and to know how local police departments are spending their resources.

If names are listed, it is because we have previously published an article about the charges and plan to follow the case to its conclusion.

Union Township:
