New year, new legislators. How to contact Centre County’s state, federal lawmakers
New legislative sessions have begun in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C., and after redistricting and retirements, the Centre County legislative lineup has a different look.
While the new lawmakers are still developing their websites, all offer forms for constituents to submit feedback. Here’s how you can contact and follow the people who represent Centre County in state and federal government.

Pennsylvania Senate
Centre County’s longtime state senator Jake Corman chose not to run for reelection in 2022 to focus on his bid for governor. With Corman’s retirement, the county was split into two state Senate districts during redistricting process that took place after the 2020 census.
Sen. Cris Dush
Dush, a Republican from Pine Creek Township in Jefferson County, was first elected to the state Senate in 2020.
He represents the 25th District, which includes the Centre County municipalities of Benner, Boggs, Burnside, College, Curtin, Gregg, Haines, Harris, Howard, Liberty, Marion, Miles, Penn, Potter, Snow Shoe, Spring, Union and Walker townships, and the boroughs of Bellefonte, Centre Hall, Howard, Milesburg, Millheim, Snow Shoe, State College and Unionville. The district also covers Cameron, Clinton, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and Potter counties.

Langherholc, a Republican from Richland Township in Cambria County, was first elected to the state Senate in 2016.
He represents the 35th District, which includes the Centre County municipalities of Ferguson, Halfmoon, Huston, Patton, Rush, Taylor and Worth townships, along with the boroughs of Philipsburg and Port Matilda. The district also covers Cambria and Clearfield counties.
