Centre County is divided into three state house districts and two state senate districts, and with some new faces among the lawmakers, you might be unsure who represents you.

After redistricting and retirements, there’s been a shakeup in the legislative lineup at the start of 2023, with a new U.S. senator and state representative, and two state senators who newly represent Centre County.

If you’re not sure who’s representing you in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C., here’s a breakdown by municipality.

Bob Casey, a Democrat from Scranton, is Pennsylvania’s senior U.S. senator.

John Fetterman, a Democrat from Braddock, is in his first term in the U.S. Senate.

Glenn Thompson, a Republican from Howard, represents Centre County in the U.S. House.

Wayne Langerholc Jr., a Republican from Richland Township in Cambria County, represents western Centre County in the Pennsylvania Senate.

Cris Dush, a Republican from Pine Creek Township in Jefferson County, represents a large swath of Centre County in the state senate.

Newcomer Paul Takac, D-College Township, joins Kerry Benninghoff, R-Bellefonte, and Scott Conklin, D-Rush Township, as Centre County representatives in the state house.
