Numerous Centre County roads are closed after storm. Here’s an updated list

Downed trees and utility lines after Tuesday evening’s severe storm have led to the closure of numerous roads across Centre County.

As crews continue to work to clear debris and restore utility lines, here’s what you need to know about road closures. In a news release, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that some local road closures are expected to be in place through the end of the week.

Ferguson Township

  • West College Avenue between Whitehall Road and Bristol Avenue

Liberty Township

  • Orviston Road between Orviston Mountain Road and Sawmill Road

Patton Township

  • Purdue Mountain Road between Buffalo Run Road, Fillmore Road and Purdue Mountain Road

Potter Township

  • State Route 144 between Upper Georges Valley Road and Short Road

Spring Township

  • Route 144 between Rishel Hill Road and Steeplechase Drive

State College

  • Westerly Parkway between South Sparks Street and O’Bryan Street in State College

  • Chestnut Grove Road/Bush Hollow Road between Ammerman Road and Spotts Road
