Mike Watkins to miss Penn State men’s basketball’s game against Nebraska

Penn State forward Mike Watkins will reportedly miss the team’s game Sunday against Nebraska with a right-knee injury.

The announcement came Thursday during the Penn State Coaches Show with Patrick Chambers, according to a post on Twitter by Andy Katz. Watkins injured his knee early in the team’s loss to Michigan on Wednesday night. Watkins, who is averaging 12.1 points and 8.9 rebounds, played five minutes against the Wolverines.

Penn State will take on Nebraska on the road at 5:15 p.m. Sunday in its final game of the regular season.
