Penn State LB Curtis Jacobs announces decision to enter 2024 NFL Draft

After saying he will play in the Peach Bowl, Penn State linebacker Curtis Jacobs has now announced his plans for the 2024 season as well.

Jacobs will enter the 2024 NFL Draft and announced his decision on Friday on his Twitter account.

“My time here has been very special and I will never forget it,” Jacobs’ statement reads. “I gave everything I had on the field for my brothers and I have made relationships that will last a lifetime.”

Jacobs is the third Nittany Lion to declare for the draft, joining DE Chop Robinson and TE Theo Johnson. Robinson opted out of the Peach Bowl, while Johnson announced he will play in the game.

Jacobs played in eight games as a freshman in 2020 before becoming a key part of the rotation and regular starter over the next three seasons. He registered 169 tackles, 9.5 sacks, three passes defended and two interceptions across his four-year career, along with an interception return for a touchdown against Michigan.
