Penn State expected to hire Vanderbilt special teams coordinator Justin Lustig, per source

Penn State has found a coach to replace former special teams coordinator Stacy Collins.

The Nittany Lions are expected to add Vanderbilt special teams coordinator Justin Lustig to its coaching staff, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Matt Zenitz of 247Sports initially reported the news.

Lustig would join the staff after spending the last three seasons with the Commodores in his role as special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. He also spent the first year as assistant head coach and the last two as associate head coach. Lustig played college football in Pennsylvania at Bucknell and was also a Division II head coach in the state at Edinboro in 2016.

He would join the staff after Collins was officially announced as the Boise State special teams coordinator Monday. His departure was initially reported Friday.
