Where is Penn State in the AP top 25 after beating Minnesota? Here are the full rankings

Penn State remains steady at No. 4 in the Associated Press Top-25 poll after narrowly beating Minnesota on the road Saturday.

As the regular season winds down, the top four of the latest poll, which was released Sunday afternoon, has stayed consistent. Oregon and Ohio State are in the top two spots. Indiana, ranked No. 5 last week, fell to No. 10 after losing to the Buckeyes 15-38 on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions beat Minnesota 26-25 in Minneapolis, and the Golden Gophers remain unranked in the poll. Illinois in the only other ranked Big Ten team, at No. 22.

Penn State had 1,301 voting points, which is 94 fewer than No. 3 Texas and 23 more than No. 5 Notre Dame.

The Nittany Lions are also No. 4 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings and at the No. 6 seed in the bracket, with the next rankings to be released on Tuesday. Saturday’s game helps crystallize their chances of being in the 12-team CFP field, and a win this week against Maryland will make it a sure thing. Earning any of the No. 5-8 seeds would net Penn State a home game.

Penn State faces Maryland at Beaver Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
