Penn State football season is just over three months away, with men’s basketball following just a few months after. And just because it’s the offseason, that doesn’t mean there aren’t questions swirling around both programs — or others across Penn State.

Beaver Stadium’s ongoing $700 million reconstruction project is in its second phase, while the PSU football team continues to prepare for the first season of the Matt Campbell era. Men’s basketball turned over nearly its entire roster as head coach Mike Rhoades looks to improve off a disastrous 2024-2025 season. That includes losing the best recruit in program history — Kayden Mingo — after only one season, while two assistants departed for new jobs.

Questions will be featured in Friday mailbag stories published on CentreDaily.com.
