See Penn State coaches Taylor Mouser and Jake Waters break down film of QB Rocco Becht
Penn State has a new offensive coaching staff, and with it, a new starting quarterback in Rocco Becht. Becht was a three-year starter at Iowa State and comes to the program with plenty of familiarity with the coaches who also came from the Cyclones.
That includes offensive coordinator Taylor Mouser, who held the same position at Iowa State over the last two seasons, and quarterbacks coach Jake Waters, who has been Becht’s position coach for the last two seasons at Iowa State. Both have seen his development up close.
Mouser and Waters recently sat down with the Centre Daily Times to break down Becht’s film, discussing what he excels at and where he can improve most heading into the season.
Mouser broke down Becht’s film from the 2024 Pop-Tarts Bowl to explain why he believes in his quarterback and discuss what his next steps in development look like. Watch the full video below:
