The No. 1 seed was the top choice at every weight but one. Read on for more details:
125: Nick Suriano of Michigan received almost half the votes to win at this weight class. Penn State’s Drew Hildebrandt had the third highest vote total.
133: Penn State’s Roman Bravo-Young was the overwhelming favorite.
141: Penn State’s Nick Lee was the readers’ pick.
149: Cornell’s Yianni Diakomihalis dominated.
157: Iowa State’s David Carr was the top choice. Penn State’s Brady Berge had the third highest vote total.
165: Evan Wick of Cal Poly was the winner.
174: Penn State’s Carter Starocci led the pack.
184: This was the one weight class where the No. 1 seed didn’t get the nod. Readers predicted that Penn State’s Aaron Brooks, a 2 seed, will win the title over top seed Myles Amine of Michigan.
197: Penn State’s Max Dean was the big winner in this poll.
