Week 2 of high school football took place Friday night with only two Centre County teams in action. Bald Eagle Area notched its first win of the season with a 46-8 victory over the Huntingdon Bearcats, while Bellefonte fell to 0-2 with a 26-14 loss to the Central Scarlet Dragons.
Penns Valley and Philipsburg-Osceola were originally set to face off, but the game was called off after Penns Valley was advised to quarantine following a positive COVID-19 test for a player from Clearfield, the Rams’ opponent last week.
