Here’s who, when and where Centre County football teams play in the District 6 playoffs

It’s postseason time for Pennsylvania’s high school football teams.

In Centre County, State College, Bellefonte, Bald Eagle Area and Penns Valley will be competing in the District 6 playoffs in their respective classes.

Games will begin Friday for BEA and Penns Valley and Saturday for Bellefonte, while State College gets a bye.

Here’s who’s playing who, when and where in the first round:

2A

No. 4 Bald Eagle Area vs. No. 5 River Valley at 7 p.m. Friday at BEA in the quarterfinals (winner plays the winner of No. 1 Cambria Heights vs. No. No. 8 Forest Hills in the semifinals)

No. 7 Penns Valley at No. 2 Bellwood-Antis at 7 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals (winner plays the winner of No. 3 Richland vs. No. 6 Southern Huntingdon in the semifinals)

Class 2A championship will be held Nov. 19 at Altoona.

4A

No. 2 Bellefonte vs. No. 1 Juniata in the district championship at 6 p.m. Saturday at Mansion Park in Altoona

6A

No. 1 State College vs. the winner of Friday’s No. 2 Williamsport vs. No. 3 Altoona game in next week’s district championship game (time, date and location TBD)
