Who should be the Centre Daily Times Boys Athlete of the Week for May 9-14?

Here are this week’s nominees for the Centre Daily Times boys high school athlete of the week presented in alphabetical order. They were selected by the CDT sports staff via stats compiled by the CDT or sent to cdtscores@centredaily.com.

Evan Roach, Saint Joe’s baseball
Roach had a strong day against St. John Neumann, allowing one run on two hits over six innings, striking out 18 and walking one in a 3-2 victory on May 9.
Micah Good, Penns Valley track and field
Good won the 400-meter dash at the Mountain League Championships on May 10, with a time of 53:65. He, along with his teammates Logan Crater, Zach Braucht and Tanner Ilgen, won the 4x100 race with a time of 44.76.
Sean Adams, State College track and field
Adams had a first-place finish in the 800-meter race on May 14 in the Mid Penn Championship. He finished first with a time of 1:52.02.
William Spratt, Bellefonte track and field
Spratt had a throw of 43.25 feet for first place in shot put at the Mountain League Championships on May 10. He also took third in the discus throw (124-06.00).
Zach Paterno, State College boys lacrosse
Paterno finished with 18 saves in a 15-11 win over Palmyra on May 9. He followed up with a 14-save day against Carlisle in a 12-11 victory on May 11.
