Chad Muckey, Philipsburg-Osceola track and field
Muckey finished 18th in the 3,200m run (9:51.03) and 20th in the 1,600m run (4:31.24) in the PIAA Track and Field Championships from May 27-28.
Jason Dreibelbis, Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy
Dreibelbis went 2-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts to lead his team in hits in Saint Joe’s 6-5 loss against Williamsburg on May 24 in the District 6 Class 1A semifinals.
Maclain Welshans, Penns Valley baseball
Welshans went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Penns Valley’s 7-1 loss to Central in the District 6 Class 3A championship on May 28.
State College boys track and field’s 4x800 relay team
Mathew Staniar, Trent Dinant, Nick Sloff and Sean Adams finished first with a time of 7 minutes, 45.36 seconds at the PIAA Track and Field Championships from May 27-28.
