Expand All

Foodies planning to attend this year’s Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts are in luck. From gourmet grilled cheese, to tacos, to funnel cakes, there’s options to satisfy everyone.

The 2022 Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts will take place July 14 to 17, with Children and Youth Day July 13.

The famed event will include a sidewalk sale and exhibition, indoor and outdoor performances and more. Some of the indoor shows will require a $15 wristband.

More than 15 food vendors are slated to attend the festival. Here’s a spotlight on some of the offerings. Please note it is likely not all dishes will be available at each truck, as mobile restaurants often offer simplified menus at events.

The Funnel Cake Kings

This truck offers unique funnel cake flavors, including orange dreamsicle, cinnamon bun, peanut butter cinnamon and caramel apple.

It will be located at the Memorial Field Parking Lot at the arts festival and will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 13, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 14 to 16.

We Be Cheesin’

We Be Cheesin’ offers fan-favorite grilled cheeses, like the three cheese with muenster, colby jack and mozzarella, as well as specials like the pizza grilled cheese and “chocolate monkey.”

The truck will be located at Allen and Nittany at the arts festival.

Bonnie Blue’s features “comfort food redefined,” and you can check it out at the Memorial Field Parking Lot.

It’s known for the shrimp po boy, with blackened shrimp, shredded cabbage, tomatoes, creamy Cajun sauce and green onions on a toasted French roll. The truck has also previously offered specialty nachos, with Cajun crawfish or buffalo chicken.
