Centre Hall man accused of having party house for teens pleads guilty to sexual assault

A Centre Hall man pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually assaulting one teenage girl and sexual misconduct with another, the Centre County district attorney’s office said.

Brian Schreck, 33, pleaded guilty to one felony count each of sexual assault and corruption of minors, and one misdemeanor count of indecent assault of an unconscious person.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 27 to at least six years in state prison, followed by five years of probation. His maximum sentence is set to be 15 years, Assistant District Attorney Crystal Hundt said.

Defense lawyer Steve Trialonas declined Thursday to comment.

Schreck was accused of having a party house where teenagers could gather to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana. One child told police Schreck raped her, while another said he groped her.

It was not immediately clear why prosecutors dropped the rape charge against Schreck. Rape and sexual assault have different definitions under state law.
