A year after the Topgolf Live Stadium Tour came to Beaver Stadium, the football team’s home is set to host some more outdoor events for non-football fans.

Disney’s “The Lion King” will be shown on the videoboard at 8 p.m. July 22 (Saturday) in what’s been dubbed “Films on the Field” Movie Night, with 1,000 tickets available for the event. A week before, at 9 a.m. July 15, a yoga class for ages 18 and older will take place on the field for an event called “NamaStadium.” Some 300 tickets will be available for yoga.

Both events were announced Tuesday morning in an email.

According to athletic department spokesperson Kris Petersen, yoga will be $40 per person while the movie — the 1994 animated version — will cost $5 per person.

Tickets will go on sale sometime in June, and more information is expected to be released in the near future.
