After a bout of extreme heat followed by heavy rainfall, scattered thunderstorms may be the only weather-related issue to look out for during the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.

The flood watch issued by the National Weather Service expires at 2 a.m. Tuesday, but storm cells are projected to remain in some capacity throughout the week.

Thursday is anticipated to be 82 degrees and humid with intermittent cloud cover and afternoon thunderstorms.
Friday is forecast to be 80 degrees and overcast with rain showers projected throughout the day and a 53% chance of thunderstorms.
