HS roundup: Here’s what happened in Centre County high school sports from April 1-4

The high school spring sports season is in full swing in Centre County. Here’s what happened from April 1-4 (check out what happened March 28-31 here):
Baseball
State College: State College beat Williamsport 15-4 in four innings on Saturday.
Lacrosse
Bellefonte girls: Bellefonte defeated Mifflin County 7-5 on Thursday. Mackena Lake and Molly McKee each recorded two goals, while Hana Rados led the Red Raiders on defense.
State College girls: State College beat Mechanicsburg 16-5 on Thursday to improve to 2-2. Ariana Angus had five goals and two assists for the Little Lions, while Leah Moyer had five goals of her own and Sydney O’Donnell had four goals and three assists.
Softball
State College: State College lost 7-5 to Williamsport on Saturday. Zia Bednar went 2-4 with an RBI, Liv Mctavish was 1-4 with a double and an RBI, and Carson Spencer was 1-2 with a double and an RBI.
Track & field
State College: State College’s track and field team competed at the Bruce Dallas Invitational on Saturday in Mechanicsburg. Winners for the Little Lions were: Eniayo Ogunranti (100-meter dash); Brady Bigger (3,200-meter run); the boys’ 4x800-meter relay; Conrad Moore (high jump); Ian Dorefice (pole vault); Shannon Mullin (long jump; triple jump) and Sarah Neely (pole vault).
